Formerly called âla piana di Mascaliâ, the fertile lands of the Catania region have been used over the centuries to produce fodder, almonds, blackberries for silkworm breeding, grapes, lemons and today tropical fruits. In the 16th century, the d'Amico family received the opportunity from the Bishop of Catania to cultivate these lands and become their owners. Since then, the patronal residence has evolved from a family farm to a refined and elegant residence welcoming its guests in an elegant and comfortable setting.
You will appreciate this guest house for its historic character, its family atmosphere, its careful restoration and for its beautiful swimming pool surrounded by fruit trees and olive trees. The breakfast served as a buffet consists of fresh and local products including homemade pies, seasonal fruits from the vegetable garden, pastries, yogurts and cold meats. The dinner can be organized on request.
