Rosa, the owner, will warmly welcome you and take you around the masseria to visit the different rooms. A Sicilian aperitif with local wine is offered to guests on their arrival. The ancient stables, barn and carriage houses along with the museum of the peasant life and a traditional Sicilian cart reflects the richness of the agricultural past still present in Sicily today. Located in the countryside between Enna and Piazza Armerina, this Agriturismo is the ideal place to discover the region and visit places such as Caltagirone, Caltanissetta, Mount Etna, the Villa Romana del Casale, the lake of Pergusa, Enna castle or the archaeological site of Aidone and Morgantina.
THE ROOMS:
The rooms and suite located in the ancient stables are spacious and comfortable. 6 rooms and suite on the ground level all equipped with bathroom, TV, air conditioning and fridge. The kitchenette of the suite can be used for light meals or salads. A fully equipped kitchen is available for the use of guests upon request. Breakfast is served in the dining room and is comprehensive of local fresh cheese (ricotta, primo sale), season fruits, tarts and homemade jams, local bread and yoghurt. Do not miss eggs and ricotta, the breakfast speciality freshly prepared by the owner.
