Autumn is one of the best seasons to enjoy the best of the trees during long walks, to awaken our senses and prepare our body for winter. Chestnut is the star ingredient of this season.While chestnuts are relatively low in calories and fat, they are, on the other hand, very rich in minerals, vitamin C and phytonutrients, which are extremely beneficial for health. It is a delicious treat that can be found on tables between November and December in the central and southern regions of Italy.
